District moves forward in Boundary Engagement Process
Updated November 20, 2018
Westside Community Schools continues to work through our Boundary Engagement Process to address possible shifts within the Loveland, Swanson and Sunset Hills neighborhoods. In response to feedback received during and after a second public forum earlier this month, we have updated the Boundary Engagement Process section of our website. There you will find the complete presentation from the public forum, including the four proposed scenarios; the traffic study commissioned by Westside Community Schools; and a Q&A section addressing the most frequently asked questions including what we are considering for grandfathering.
The Boundary Committee will meet one final time on Thursday, November 29. At this meeting, the committee will provide their comprehensive thoughts and suggestions. I will take all of that input, along with community feedback, and form my final recommendation to the Board at either the December of January Board of Education meeting. The Board will then vote whether or not to approve that recommendation. All Board meetings are open to the public and details will be shared in advance on our website and across Westside social media.
