WHS Math Educator named Westside Teacher of the Month
Ben Baber, Math Teacher at Westside High School, has been named February Teacher of the Month for Westside Community Schools.
Baber is awarded $100, thanks to Loveland Family Chiropractic with Dr. Kiley Sequenzia and Tamie Schuett.
Baber was nominated by fellow Westside High School teacher Sally Shepherd, who wrote:
- “Ben is a highly skilled teacher and works so hard with every student to help them succeed. He is diligent about keeping grades current and quickly getting kids who are struggling extra help. His calm demeanor and great sense of humor keep kids in his classroom. As a parent, I really appreciated his skill and commitment to his students. After taking two college math classes, my son told me how much he really appreciated Mr. Baber’s teaching style and how he make everything easier to understand. That’s quite a compliment coming from a student. “
