WCS Requesting Budget Feedback
As we begin this new year, we are examining the budgetary challenges that school districts across our state are addressing. Here at Westside Community Schools, we value your feedback. Because of this, we are asking everyone in our community: students, teachers, parents, stakeholders without school aged children and others, to provide us with your ideas and suggestions.
We will be forming a budget review committee with staff members, administrators, community leaders and families to prioritize our needs prior to forming any proposals for the Board of Education. As part of that process, we invite you to share your thoughts regarding our school programming and services, and what you believe should be reviewed, modified, or reduced. To offer your thoughts, please visit Let’s Talk and submit a form by clicking this link: http://westside66.org/lets-talk/. You will select ‘Budget Feedback’.
Please be as specific as possible in your response. This feedback will be considered in aligning community values with the District’s strategic plan. We will then present our proposals for a balanced budget to the Board of Education in March 2017.
Thank you for your dedication and commitment to our District and all of the educators and students who help it thrive. We look forward to hearing from you.
