Swanson families, graduates, teachers invited for one last look

Swanson Elementary families, past and present students, and current and former teachers, are all invited to take one last look at the school before the historic building closes. Westside Community Schools will host an Open House at Swanson, 8601 Harney Street, on Saturday November 25 from 1:00-3:00pm. 10 Westside students chosen for Nebraska Middle School Honor Choir

10 Westside Middle School students have been selected for the prestigious Nebraska Middle School Honor Choir, an elite assembly including the state’s most talented young vocalists. WMS students chosen to participate are Elena Rosenblatt, Elina Gigantelli, Elinor Bowen, Sanaa Slaughter, Lina Shukry, Ethan NewMeyer, Aidan Upton, Kidus Tewodros, Wyatt Almeida, and Jack Scioli. Westbrook Educator Named Teacher of the Month

Makeisha Miller, 2nd grade teacher at Westbrook Elementary, has been named October’s Teacher of the Month for Westside Community Schools.
