Non-Residents: Option Enrollment Information
The Nebraska Option Enrollment Program is only available to families who reside in the State of Nebraska.
Parents who wish to have their child attend school in a school district other than the one in which they live can apply for the program. Option Enrollment forms should be filed with the district between September 1 and March 15 for attendance the following school year. The school district will notify parents by April 1 if the application has been accepted or denied. Placements are made based on space available and in an order established in accordance with state statute. The Westside Community School District does not guarantee a non-resident child’s placement, nor does it guarantee placement at any particular elementary school at the time of filing the Option Enrollment application.
